Know what changed.
Decide what leaves.
QSOFix separates safe normalization from operator judgment. It can uppercase a callsign. It cannot decide which memory matters.
Read ADIF as ADIF
Declared lengths, headers, record boundaries and unknown fields are parsed instead of treated as loose text.
<CALL:5>K2ABCSurface exact problems
Missing identity fields, impossible dates, invalid times and duplicate candidates receive clear, filterable issues.
INVALID QSO_DATEWrite a traceable copy
Export a normalized ADIF, CSV issue report and source provenance while every imported file remains untouched.
PROGRAMID: QSOFixA narrow tool with strong opinions
Length-aware parsing
Values are read using their declared ADIF byte lengths, including spaces and vendor-specific fields.
Safe normalization
Trim whitespace and normalize callsign, mode and band casing without inventing missing station data.
Human deduplication
Group likely repeats, show the evidence and leave the final keep-or-exclude decision to the operator.
Local station history
No account, cloud import or third-party logbook credentials. Your contact history stays on the Mac.

Operator questions
QSOFix FAQ
What is an ADIF repair tool?↘
An ADIF repair tool reads the declared field lengths in .adi or .adif files, identifies malformed or missing values, normalizes safe fields and writes a new standards-friendly log without replacing your logger.
Does QSOFix automatically delete duplicate contacts?↘
No. QSOFix identifies duplicate candidates and lets the operator decide which record to exclude from export. It never removes a QSO silently.
Will unknown ADIF fields be preserved?↘
Yes. Vendor-specific and future ADIF fields are kept during parsing and export even when QSOFix does not use them for validation.
Does my station history leave my Mac?↘
No. QSOFix parses, compares and exports logs locally. It does not upload callsigns, locations or station history.
How much will QSOFix cost?↘
The planned launch price is US$24 as a one-time purchase for one Mac, with no subscription.
Which payment methods will be available?↘
At launch, Polar will process checkout as the merchant of record. Available cards and eligible wallets depend on your country, browser and device, and applicable tax is calculated at checkout.
